Stacey Mason
Manager

Stacey Mason is a Manager who works on the firm’s international governmental clients.  Prior to joining The Harbour Group in June 2010, Ms. Mason worked in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, for the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), which is currently undertaking one of the largest wide-scale education reforms in the world. At ADEC, Ms. Mason supported the Director General's office and was a member of the policy planning staff, thus playing a key role in ADEC's initiatives. In particular, Ms. Mason helped initiate the business plan and the process mapping design for a new Office of Research in ADEC. While at ADEC, Ms. Mason co-authored multiple studies, including analysis on demographics, school characteristics and stakeholder satisfaction.

Previously, Ms. Mason held various staff positions in law firms including, Snell and Wilner LLP, where she coordinated legal research and assisted with trial preparation for over 100 complex civil litigation cases.  Ms. Mason also served as assistant finance director for the nominee for Lieutenant Governor of Georgia. She worked with the United Nations in NYC, researching a range of policy issues, and has experience in non-profit fundraising and communications.

Ms. Mason received a Masters degree from American University’s School of International Service, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Georgia. Ms. Mason's academic focus was on armed conflict resolution and political negotiations. Her honors masters thesis analyzed the relationship between youth and education and its impact on maintaining security and promoting social sustainability. It was based on in-depth field work in the UAE.
