Matthew Epperly
Director

Matthew Epperly, Director, provides strategic communications and political risk management counsel to companies and institutions.  He brings extensive experience in developing public affairs and marketing campaigns that enable private and public sector clients to achieve their business objectives. Mr. Epperly has worked in communications, government, strategic consulting and real estate investment. He has advised technology, media, energy, transportation, health care and real estate companies on marketing strategy, issues management, corporate social responsibility, government relations and digital communications.

Mr. Epperly was previously at Burson-Marsteller, where he was deputy program manager for the U.S. Government’s global public education program to inform financial institutions and U.S. currency users about the redesigned $100 note. In this role, he supervised media relations and stakeholder outreach efforts in over 40 international markets.

Prior to obtaining his MBA, Mr. Epperly was a founding member of a strategic consultancy and a real estate investment firm in New York City. Mr. Epperly has worked on political campaigns at the national, state and local levels.  Earlier in his career, he served as Special Assistant to the Speaker of the New York City Council providing advice on communications, political and policy issues.

Mr. Epperly graduated cum laude from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where he passed the Russian language proficiency exam.  He received his MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
